Jimmie Morten Rasmussen
Employed since 2004
Educated Lorry driver
What do you do?
I work as a Forvalter in our terminal in Rønne. My work starts early in the morning, preparing documents on the goods that have arrived with the freight ferry early in the morning and distributing tasks to the drivers.
My job is generally a planning and team leader function for drivers. I also have a lot of customer contact regarding the day’s operations. I have a great insight into both worlds, which is a great advantage in my job.
I used to be a lorry driver, but now I’m in an office role where I’m responsible for ensuring that the drivers’ working days are planned as smoothly, efficiently and logistically as possible.

What is the most exciting and challenging part?
The exciting thing about my job is that no two days are ever the same. Challenges often arise that we need to solve, and I’m often responsible for finding that solution. I have to find a solution to ensure that the customer is satisfied with the delivery and their order.
How do you use your education in your current position?
What are the three most important things for you in your work at BHS Logistics?
I started as a terminal worker back in 2004. I then took a truck driving licence and ADR training through BHS, which gave me the opportunity to become a truck driver. I didn’t go to secondary school, but I’ve been working for many years, so I have a lot of practical experience that I draw on in my daily work.
- Good colleagues
- Great trust from management
- There’s room for everyone at BHS
Why is BHS Logistics an attractive company for you to work for?
BHS is an attractive workplace for me because no two days are ever the same and my colleagues are always ready to help if needed. We all have a good sense of humour and there is room for us to have fun in our work. In addition, BHS is a constantly evolving company and it’s exciting to be a part of
