Christoffer Andersen

After an exciting conversation with Christoffer on our social media platform, we continue the interview on our website. Here, we dive deeper into his perspectives on working in the transport industry and what drives him in his daily work as a forwarding agent at BHS Logistics.

What is the most exciting thing about working in the transport industry?

The transport industry is incredibly dynamic, and that’s what makes every day so unique. There are always new opportunities to find the best logistical solutions for our customers. Every day brings new challenges, and I enjoy being part of an industry that is in constant development and change.

What challenge have you recently solved that you are particularly proud of?

There isn’t one specific challenge I would single out, but what makes me proud every day is putting the puzzle together. I make sure all the pieces fit—from the customers’ orders to the capacities of the trucks. When everything comes together and we deliver the goods on time, that’s something I can really be proud of.

How does your work contribute to the overall value chain at BHS Logistics?

My job is to ensure that our trucks are on the road and that we keep customers happy by collecting and delivering their goods on time. This way, I help maintain the overall value chain at BHS Logistics, where efficiency and customer satisfaction are paramount. When transportation runs smoothly, we have satisfied customers and a well-functioning operation.

What do you see as the biggest change in the industry in the coming years?

I think the biggest change in the industry will be the development of electric trucks. We’re already seeing great strides with newer trucks, biofuels, and environmental zones in major cities. In the coming years, I expect the electrification of trucks to significantly change the landscape, and we’ll see a major shift in how transportation operates. It will require adjustments but also open new opportunities for both transport companies and customers.

How has your role developed since you started?

Since I’ve only been at BHS Logistics for about a year, my role hasn’t changed significantly yet. I’m still coordinating the trucks and managing the transportation of customers’ goods from Sweden to Denmark. Every day, we focus on optimizing our solutions to get the most out of each transport task.

Why did you choose to work in logistics?

I chose to work in logistics because I’m drawn to the dynamics and ongoing development of the industry. I find it exciting to be involved in making a difference daily by implementing new ideas and optimizing solutions, and I enjoy seeing the immediate results of our efforts.

How would your colleagues describe you?

I believe my colleagues would describe me as solution-oriented, hardworking, and willing to take risks. I’m always ready to take responsibility and find the best solutions when challenges arise.
